But I've also just learned from Down and Out in Saigon [http://tphcm.blogspot.com/] that Muqdada Al-Sadr, one of the big powers in Iraq, has decided to issue a fatwa - a religious proclamation - on football. He thinks it is blasphemous and his fatwa prohibits the game. So that might skew the prediction a bit.
